our direct first business model
As we launched Truewerk, it quickly became apparent that traditional retailers have lost their connection to the jobsite AND are charging outrageous mark-ups on the products they resell.
We knew that prioritizing selling through big-box retailers would be too restrictive for us to reach the level of performance we sought to achieve with our new workwear. To overcome these limitations a new, more streamlined, approach would be needed.
So like Tesla, Kuiu and others pushing the limits of technical performance, we're stepping around the middle-man retailers and working directly with our customers.
This model enables us to offer:
A) UNBOUNDED PERFORMANCE
B) PRODUCTS TO MARKET AS SOON AS THEY ARE READY
C) A DYNAMIC CONNECTION WITH OUR CUSTOMERS
WHY THIS IS BETTER FOR YOU
We take the significant dollars that once went to retailers and reinvest them in the better fabrics, higher quality production processes and in our job-site focused approach to product development.
Our direct first business model is foundational to our continuing to push the boundaries of performance workwear while insuring it remains affordable for our industrial athletes who rely on it every day.
