"During the summer months this is my go to shirt. I'm an oyster farmer out in the sun all day and this shirt is comfortable, cool and protects from the sun. The hood fits tighter than many other sun shirts I've tried which for me is a plus because it stays on on over your hat while driving boats."

Not cut out for the job

"While breathable, material holds stink and stains like no other. Bungee material for hood is too tight for size (xl) I’m not even that big for the size. 6’2” 190. Hoodie bungee also started to pull threads after a handful of washes and the material has torn off completely leaving the hood non functioning. Wouldn’t buy again."

Almost Perfect

"Love the fit and material. Worked out well for long days in hot sunny and humid conditions. Didnt get sunburned and stayed as comfortable as could be expected. Material seems more durable than a hiking type sun shirt. My only gripe is that the hood fits kinda tight around the neck. Only noticed that while walking for longer periods. The neck tightness wasnt an issue while working and moving, just when walking for say 10 minutes."

Nice hoodie - terrible tags

"The B1 tech hoodie is a nice sun-screen hoodie for non-lotion protection from the sun. Both this and their B1 short sleeved crew neck are great for hot environments. But the Truewerk tags sewn into the neck and hem are terrible. They are stiff and scratchy and they never soften. Five stars for the shirt; loses a star for the terrible tags."

Would the B1 be ideal for working in 80 degrees plus in constant sun and heat? I work in the pool and spa industry and am in direct sunlight for extended periods. I need the protection but not any added heat.
