Near perfect

"These pants are great, I love the design and placement of the pockets. The few things I do not like is the double button on the fly. Sometimes it makes it hard to button and unbutton them. The other thing is the velcro on the cargo pockets. After a few washes the velcro doesn't work anymore - I'd really love to have a zipper there for a more secure pocket."

Dual role pants served me well

"These are great work pants, that serves me well in dual roles. I have to be in the Port of LB/LA for my job and had to hustle over to a meeting/outdoor event and the T2WerkPant held up well in its dual role. The pants/fabric was so soft and very durable. And made me look great in the meeting that proceeded the work in the field. Kudos!"

I don’t recommended for HVAC field

"When I received the T2’s, I washed them and wore them the next day to service few ACs. By my second call, there was a tear on my pants and I was not doing any type of hard work, I wasn’t even installing which is when we deal with sheet metal, screws, etc. That day I just replaced 2 capacitors, 1 fan motor, 2 thermostats and cleaned a unit. I find the pants too soft and not durable for this line of work. Note all my pants I have currently are in good shape and I have not torn any doing this work. I use the Wranglers cargo Riggs rip stop and the cargo by Cintas. Maybe it was just one of those scenarios where it got caught on something and rarely happens, but I feel like I have to be too careful wearing these around. I found the length 34 too long and will go back to 32. I was going to buy more and recommend to all my guys but will have to test out longer."

Rugged pants with refined tyle

"sturdy construction while still being stylish enough to wear around town. I don't look like im headed to the jobsite. My only complaint is that the length doesn't go less than 30. Fit is good, they don't stretch in the waist so if you are between sizes go up a size."

Big changes

"My guy has never worn anything except denim jeans. Seventy four years old-never tried another thing. A young friend who works in construction recommended the T1 pants. My beloved is absolutely thrilled and shocked at how comfortable they are while he's doing yardwork. Another converted blue jean guy!! Thank you!!!"

Nice Pants - Needs belt/suspenders

"Length was too long as a 36", need to get them hemmed. I'm usually a 36 waist with pants as well, no problem, and these ones kept falling off me. So I order 34/34 and they seemed great for the first few hours, but apparently the waste stretches out fast and they were falling off by the second half of the day. My coworker ordered a size smaller as well and the same thing happened to him. I otherwise like the pants. I'm not sure if they are as durable as claimed yet, but they are nice to wear and so far, so good."

Neil J. (4/5)

Still excellent quality

"These are the first of the 2nd gen T1 & T2 pants that I've bought, and that's because my older truewerk pants have worn so well. My only disappointment is the smaller size of the phone pocket and the design of the L thigh pocket's flap. Since I seldom used the pocket, I liked the attachments at both sides. I just ordered the pro version, as it seems more like the older style. I plan to tack down the outer edges of the L thigh pocket flaps on my newer style T1 & T2 pants."

Best work pants ive ever owned

"This hold up better than any pants ive ever owned. As a home inspector im up and down all day and in and out of Attica and crawlspace. They never stain, always wash clean, are light enough to not be hot in sunmer months and repell water like a rain jacket. I highly recommend them."

Patrick W. (5/5)

Great, As Always

"Once again, I can't say enough about the T2 pants. We're building a home at 8000 ft and although we have warm days, it's never hot. These are great pants for the moderate temps of the mountains. I'm hard on my workwear and these hold up better than anything I've ever worn before. And, without a doubt, the most comfortable pants I've ever worn."

Scott B. (5/5)

Good work pant

"Good but not great work pant. I’ve been wearing them for about a month now. Couple things I’d love to see are double knee for padding when kneeling down. The phone pocket is nice but a touch wider to accommodate cases. A smaller pocket to be able to hold a flashlight"

Q&A

What is the Cold Weather Max Range for the T2 vs T3 Werkpant? Also, how quickly do you restock T3 Werkpant sizes? I'm looking to do a Christmas purchase for my husband. Thank you
Geat questions! The primary differences have to do with the climate you’ll use the pants in. However, here are some details we think will be helpful. If you’d prefer a side-by-side comparison, navigate to the pants of your choice on TRUEWERK.com and scroll to the “COMPARE” section. Railroading are these going to stand up to one of the roughest industries ever. We do everything! You name it the railroad does it all! Curious how warm? Standup to those -20’s in Montana?
Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! For the conditions you've described, we'd recommend the T3 Werkpants, as they will offer all of the abrasion and water resistance of the T2's, along with a fleece lining to keep you warm in the cold conditions. Thank you, TRUEWERK
Why do you not offer a 34 in inseam?
Hi Jason, We offer a 34" inseam for waist sizes 30-44. You'll need to toggle the waist size to at least 30 in order to see the expanded inseam sizes populate. Thank you, TRUEWERK
How well do they handle fire, sparks, slag??
Hi there, The T2 pants are not FR rated so we do not recommend them if they will come in contact with sparks/high heat. Thank you, TRUEWERK
How would these be for a tree climbing who works outside all year around?
Hi Clark, Yes, the T2's are a very versatile pant that can accommodate you in year-round temperatures. Thank you, TRUEWERK
