Lineage of Work with Perkins Builder Brothers

THE BEST TEACHERS RARELY CALL THEMSELVES TEACHERS

Erik and Jaime Perkins spent their earliest years helping their father Randy on the jobsite. It was here, in the mountains of North Carolina, that they learned the craft of custom homebuilding. In the years that followed, the brothers also spent considerable time in their stepfather Bob’s woodworking shop. He taught them the unique skills needed to build precision musical instruments by hand.

These abilities, along with new ones they developed over time, helped build the reputation of their business Perkins Enterprises, and later their successful YouTube channel Perkins Builder Brothers.

Now, with over 40 years of combined experience and more than one million channel subscribers, they’ve learned how partner brands, like TRUEWERK, can amplify their excellence. With every home they build and every video they post, they’re bringing new appreciation to the trades and true craftsmanship.

Happy Father's Day to all the mentors who got us here.

ABOUT THE PERKINS BROTHERS

Erik and Jaime Perkins learned the craft of custom homebuilding from their dad Randy in the mountains of North Carolina. As they grew, the brothers’ paths would start to diverge, with Jaime pursuing a contractor’s license and Erik, a degree in computer science. But eventually, their paths would converge again, and the skills they’d learned together and apart would help build their business, Perkins Enterprises, into a regional powerhouse.

“I just want to do it right. I don’t want anyone having any problems with it. I build it the way I’d want it built for my own house.”

— Randy Perkins, aka Dad.
