The WerkShield Zip Up Hoodie elevates fleece into job-site territory. Its double-woven construction blocks wind and sheds debris that clings to standard fleece. The interior is brushed for warmth and comfort, while the smooth exterior resists sawdust, hay, and grime. Articulated shoulder seams reduce pressure under harnesses and tool belts. Lightweight yet protective, it layers cleanly under shells or stands alone in moderate conditions. Finished with PFAS-free C0 DWR for light moisture resistance.
Standard fleece can’t keep up on active job sites—collecting debris and bleeding heat in the wind. We built the Werkshield FZ Hoodie to solve that. Its woven shell resists grit and gusts, staying clean and warm through changing conditions. Purpose-built for tradespeople who need midlayer flexibility with outerwear-level protection.

Never a disappointment.
"I work in the maintenance field and have been buying truewerk for some years now. This new line of light weight jackets is perfect. It’s a great fit and works perfect for when I have to be outside doing work on cooler days, but is still light enough I don’t sweat to death when I have to work inside. Good Hoodie
"Haven't had a chance to wear it outside yet but from trying it on it is pretty comfortable. I bought a large and it fits like a M1 Zip up hoodie of the same size. Arms seem to be a tad bit shorter when reaching your arms out in front of you. There is a snap button on each of the outer pockets. This feels like it is lighter weight than the M1 zip up hoodie. I do like that when fully zipped up it covers up to the chin. The outside of it is smooth so it slides into coats pretty easily compared to other truewerk hoodies I have."
