Reviews

Wyoming windbreaker

"Excellent windbreaker! I live and work in Wyoming. The wind here is extreme. I was very impressed with the wind breaking capability. The collar when flipped up adds another level of wind protection. This jacket is also great for chilly spring, summer, and fall mornings. The fabric is thin and not very abrasion or tear resistant. Tore the sleeve when it got caught on a stud. Would not of happened if a heavier weight fabric was used. For that I give it 4 stars."

Flac Shacket

"Do NOT buy this jacket if you plan to do more than walk from your truck to the job trailer. I wore for 2 days and it tore, was able to warranty and the replacement tore within the first 2 weeks doing very mild carpentry work. After correspondence with truewerk was basically told sorry about your luck ."

Love it

"Really glad I decided to get this. I have several things from Truewerk and they continue to impress. This is the perfect layer for the kind of cold weather we get in Northwest FL. I can easily get it on and off as I work inside to outside and it cuts down the cold/wind without being bulky. It’s a more fitted jacket which is great for me because I didn’t plan on layering much underneath besides a t shirt or base layer as needed."

This is an awesome jacket.

"This is an awesome jacket. It fits perfectly and is really warm. I would suggest a button or zipper on the pockets to help keep items safe but I highly recommend this Shacket."

Q&A

Is the interior fleece? Or is it a smooth lining?
There is a smooth liner!
Is this true to size or should I order a size up if I wear the hoodie under it?
If you plan to wear a hoodie under the Flac, I would size up. The Flac is super warm as is with a thinner long sleeve underneath.
Is the exterior the truewerk softshell we all know and love? Is it fleece lined like the t3 pants?
The Flac Shacket it insulated and has a water repellant outer. Similar to a T2 face, but slightly different.
Would this jacket be overkill for temps around 50 degrees? And how is the fit? Loose? Snug?
It might be a bit warm in 50 degree temps. Sweet spot is around the 40's. It is a pretty warm piece. Fit is slightly snug, not loose.
Are the sleeves a similar length to those on the T2 hoodie? I have long arms and was pleasantly surprised that the hoodie fit as well as it did, and I'm hopeful that the shacket is similar.
The sleeves will be a similar length!
