Description

"As always with truewerk, I am happy with the quality of this product. That being said the fit is not great. I usually wear a size large and that's what I ordered first. The large was huge in all respects. Customer service was great and they let me return and reorder a medium. The medium is a better fit but the arms are still too long. Great and good looking jacket for temps above 40

"Love the look and feel of this jacket. It’s very comfortable to wear. Very happy with my purchase but this jacket is no where near as warm as it’s billed to be. Even with a tshirt and hoodie underneath I’m cold working outside in Colorado around 8000ft in the upper 30s. Once I threw on a layer of wool under the hoodie it and then jacket on top it was much better and as I expected it to be. In truth my standard Carhartt with pile lining is much warmer than this all the way down in the teens. I’m probably going to have to buy the woobie to go as a baselayer with this if I want it to be as effective as the Carhartt. Anyway still a great jacket, love it but plan to have a base layer or two with it, by itself its a fall jacket at best."

What are the differences between this jacket and the s3 solution hoodie?
Hi Will, The only difference between the two is that the Hoodie has a hood and the Jacket does not. Thank you, TRUEWERK
Is the zipper made of plastic or metal? The reason I ask is cuz I'm a natural gas journeyman and we in the gas dept where I work are forced to buy work clothes (only tops) from the same company as the linemen. Button up shirts have plastic buttons & hoodies, jackets, etc have plastic zippers...
The S3 zipper is plastic! The zipper pull itself is metal.
Is the fit of this the same as the Solutions hoodie?
Yup, same fit.
What's the back length on the large?
Back length of the large is 30 1/4 inches
I am a medium waist and hips, a large chest and extra large arm length. What do you suggest?
Go with Large. Arm length is long already, and it does have some stretch, but if you want any room at all to possibly layer, the chest is going to be the limiter. For reference, I am 210#, 6', chesty, and wear a Large.
