"I originally ordered the women's shorts. They were too short for someone in my age bracket (73). I talked to a neighbor that wears Truwerk as his work pants and swore by them, so I decided to try again. I ordered the men's in the longer length, Bingo, they pockets are great for my gardening tools. I just wish the women's came in a longer length. I may actually buy some long pants and cut to the length I want."

Very well designed and made Cargo shorts.

"This is my first order with Truewerk and it will not be my last. The shorts are very interesting and they seem well constructed. The fit of the XL, 9 in. is perfect for me (6'1", 210 #). Th pockets even have pockets-the cut is generous, no binding when sitting or squatting. Can't figure out the material, it's light (looking at you Carhartt) but seems as if it will handle hard work. My favorite cargo shorts already!! My only nit is that the zipper is too short."

Not enough length

"I wish the shorts had been a bit longer. I bought them for my Ironworker grandson who works in the hot sun of Phoenix, but the length of the shorts was a problem for him. Maybe a couple of inches longer would be better. He loved all the pockets and the material is great. He will probably use them for hiking but not for work."

"I'm a weekend warrior. Have helped build a few houses, and am clearing land for a new cabin. I needed something tough but cooler. I wear these doing chores, playing golf, and hanging out. Very comfortable. I paired these with the T1 pants and am set for the summer. Bought a pair in olive green so that I can wear them in warm weather bow season too. Wipe your worm guts on them and they still come clean!"

Great fit

"Love how light and comfortable these shorts are. Spent hours working out in the yard clearing over grown brush in the heat and humidity. My old Carhartt shorts would've been uncomfortable as once you start sweating they just hold moisture."
