I have not used them over shorts yet but the inner material is soft and comfortable and I have no doubt they will work well over shorts as well ad long pants. "I used for powerwashing. They kept me dryer than t1 but did leak through zipper. Needs bigger velcro for venting on a hot day. Probably won't try wearing again when its hot. They don't breath at all."
